NFL Week 6 features some big-name games and some that could impact the season's outcome. The Lions and Chiefs face off on Sunday Night Football in a game that is important for both teams' seasons. The,. The 49ers and Buccaneers both sit with one loss as they meet up in this early-season face-off. Jacksonville has kept pace with the Colts. Can they take down Seattle, who is chasing San Francisco? Then, the Commanders, Bears, and Rams are still in the hunt for their division, while the Ravens approach do-or-die time in their season.

Last week, Off the Field & Screen went 1-4 in our picks. We went with some underdogs, and a few teams surprised everyone last week. Let us know if you beat that, and if you agree that these will be the five best games.
Top NFL Week 5 Games Quick List
Detroit Lions @ Kansas City Chiefs Sunday 8:20 PM ET on NBC
San Francisco 49ers @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers 4:25 PM ET on CBS
Seattle Seahawks @ Jacksonville Jaguars Sunday 1:00 PM ET on FOX
Chicago Bears @ Washington Commanders Monday 8:15 PM ET on ABC
Los Angeles Rams @ Baltimore Ravens 1:00 PM ET on Fox
Detroit Lions @ Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs' season hasn't exactly gone according to plan. However, their 2-3 start isn't putting them out of contention at all. They still sit only one game out of first place in their division as they start this three-game homestand. The Lions play really well on national television, with over ten wins during Dan Campbell's time as the head coach. In what could be a Super Bowl preview, both teams still need to work out the kinks. The Chiefs need to address some issues on both sides of the ball, and the Lions need to find consistency within games.
Betting Odds: Chiefs -1.5 (Per ESPN)
Off the Field and Screen Pick: Detroit Lions
San Francisco 49ers @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers
In a battle of division leaders, the 49ers and Buccaneers face off in this Week 6 battle. These are two teams that have consistently made the playoffs year after year. The 49ers missed the postseason last year with their plethora of injuries. This year, they still have a lot of injuries, but Kyle Shanahan is coaching around them. Todd Bowles has his team playing at a high level as well. In what will likely be a close game, the Buccaneers will pull this one out. Baker Mayfield has a longer track record of winning games than Mac Jones.
Betting Odds: Buccaneers -2.5 (Per ESPN)
Off the Field and Screen Pick: Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Seattle Seahawks @ Jacksonville Jaguars
Jacksonville has cobbled its way to a 4-1 record, while the Seahawks are 3-2 with losses to Tampa Bay and San Francisco. Mike Macdonald's team lost both of those games by one score. The Jaguars have won three straight one-score games. The Seahawks have looked like the better team, but they don't have the record to show for it. Expect them to put the pressure on the Jaguars this week.
Betting Odds: Jaguars -1.5 (Per ESPN)
Off the Field and Screen Pick: Seattle Seahawks
Chicago Bears @ Washington Commanders
This one should be interesting as Jayden Daniels and Caleb Williams face off for the second year in a row. The top two picks from the 2024 NFL Draft have had opposite levels of team success in the NFL. The Commanders advanced to the NFC Championship Game, and the Bears went 5-12. New coach Ben Johnson has the team at 2-2 as they navigate the rugged NFC North. The Commanders now sit one game behind the Eagles. As long as these organizations have these two quarterbacks, they'll be evaluated side by side.
Betting Odds: Commanders -4.5 (Per ESPN)
Off the Field and Screen Pick: Washington Commanders
Los Angeles Rams @ Baltimore Ravens
The Rams were in early-season Super Bowl contender conversations before last week's loss. They still have Matthew Stafford, but do they have the discipline around him to make a run? The Ravens are in do-or-die mode, not an overreaction for this point in the season. Sitting at 1-4, each extra loss carries more weight. They'll want to be careful not to build too steep a hill to climb to get into the playoffs.
Betting Odds: Rams -7.5 (Per ESPN)
Off the Field and Screen Pick: Los Angeles Rams
