College Football Week 7 is a pivotal weekend for the Big Ten, featuring multiple consequential games, especially with Penn State reeling from back-to-back losses. The Big Ten has some matchups that will reveal the difference between the contenders and the pretenders. Week 6 focused on the SEC, including Alabama's win over Vanderbilt. This week's lineup features some classic matchups, but the long-term effects aren't as significant as those of last week. Alabama doesn't get any relief, with another ranked-on-ranked game, and the Red River Shootout is always a fun watch, even with the Longhorns' struggles.

Last week, Off the Field and Screen went 3-2. Let us know if you beat that, and if you agree that these will be the five best games.
Top College Football Week 6 Games Quick List
7 Indiana @ 3 Oregon Saturday 3:30 PM ET on CBS
8 Alabama @ 14 Missouri Saturday 12:00 PM ET on ESPN
1 Ohio State @ 17 Illinois Saturday 12:00 PM ET on FOX
15 Michigan @ USC Saturday 7:30 PM ET on NBC
6 Oklahoma @ Texas Saturday 3:30 PM ET on ESPN
7 Indiana @ 3 Oregon
Curt Cignetti and Dan Lanning are the Big Ten's fastest-rising coaches. Cignetti has Indiana in the top ten and inside of College Football Playoff conversations once again. Google him. He wins. Lanning and Oregon's win over Penn State so demoralized them that they lost to a winless UCLA. The implications of this game are very interesting. If Oregon beats another top ten conference opponent, do they deserve to leapfrog Ohio State? If Indiana wins, will they finally receive the national attention they deserve? Will people stop discussing them as an also-ran?
Betting Odds: Oregon -7.5 (Per ESPN)
Off the Field and Screen Pick: Oregon
8 Alabama @ 14 Missouri
Kalen DeBoer has Alabama on a good run, but can they outlast Eliah Drinkwitz and Missouri? Missouri wasn't a preseason darling, and yet, as they reach the midway point of their season, they sit undefeated. However, Missouri has yet to play a ranked opponent. Alabama has faced tougher opponents, including FSU, Vanderbilt, and Georgia. Whether or not Missouri wins isn't as significant as who they play against tougher competition.
Betting Odds: Alabama -5.5 (Per ESPN)
Off the Field and Screen Pick: Alabama
1 Ohio State @ 17 Illinois
Ohio State hasn't played a ranked opponent since Week 1 against Texas, who has since proved that they weren't deserving of that ranking. OSU will likely view this as an opportunity to silence critics who claim they haven't faced any tough opponents. Of course, if they crush Illinois, the talk will continue. Illinois has a chance to get back into the CFP conversation with a historic upset. Of course, Indiana crushed Illinois a few weeks ago. Make of that what you will.
Betting Odds: Ohio State -16.5 (Per ESPN)
Off the Field and Screen Pick: Ohio State
15 Michigan @ USC
USC and Lincoln Riley have the chance to ruin Michigan's season. Right now, the Wolverines have a path to the CFP. They have the better team, but going across the nation for a West Coast game won't be easy for Michigan. They've relied on a rather easy schedule, so they can't afford to lose a game like this unless they want to join Illinois, USC, and Nebraska on a list of Big Ten teams on the outside looking in. Sherrone Moore is one of the shorter-tenured Big Ten coaches who hasn't received national attention because he wins in a "boring" way. This win would go a long way to changing the narrative. USC has the chance to change the momentum of their program by proving they can defeat an elite program.
Betting Odds: USC -1.5 (Per ESPN)
Off the Field and Screen Pick: Michigan
6 Oklahoma @ Texas
Texas has been proven a fraud by their loss to Florida, a fact predicted by this website. They just don't have the weapons to hang with Oklahoma, especially if John Mateer returns. Brent Venables will present the toughest defense that arch Manning has seen. If he thought the Florida defense was tough, he'll be in for a rude awakening against Oklahoma. This rivalry is a storied one, but the Sooners should dominate.
Betting Odds: Texas -2.5 (Per ESPN)
Off the Field and Screen Pick: Oklahoma
