Top Week 4 NFL Games and Picks

The NFL had, perhaps, its wildest week of games in many years last weekend. Thursday Night Football kicked off the week with another last-second game-winning field goal as the Seattle Seahawks defeated the Arizona Cardinals 23-20. NFL Week 4 has plenty of great games to offer as well.

Top Week 4 NFL Games Quick List

  1. Baltimore Ravens @ Kansas City Chiefs 4:25 PM ET on CBS

  2. Indianapolis Colts @ Los Angeles Rams 4:05 PM ET on FOX

  3. Philadelphia Eagles @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers 1:00 PM ET on FOX

  4. Minnesota Vikings @ Pittsburgh Steelers 9:30 AM ET on NFL Network

  5. Cleveland Browns @ Detroit Lions 1:00 PM ET on FOX

Baltimore Ravens @ Kansas City Chiefs

The Ravens and Chiefs usually face off for conference supremacy; however, this Week 4 matchup pits two 1-2 teams against each other, trying to avoid a 1-3 start. A 1-3 start does not make the playoffs unreachable, but it does make it more difficult. A 2-2 record will feel much better than a 1-3 one, obviously, but it is compounded for the Chiefs by the Chargers' 3-0 start (they have the Giants this weekend). A Ravens loss would be much more manageable. The Bengals are missing Joe Burrow, but the Steelers might be able to gain some ground over the next few weeks.

Betting Odds: Ravens -2.5 (Per ESPN)

Off the Field and Screen Pick: Baltimore Ravens

Indianapolis Colts @ Los Angeles Rams

The Colts are the NFL's biggest surprise so far. Daniel Jones draws a lot of attention, but a healthy Jonathan Taylor makes this team go. He has 338 rushing yards and three touchdowns already. The Rams are coming off a last-second loss against the Eagles. They'll want to right the ship after letting a winnable game slip through their fingers (blocked field goal returned for a touchdown as time ran out).

Betting Odds: Rams -3.5 (Per ESPN)

Off the Field and Screen Pick: Rams

Philadelphia Eagles @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Eagles and Buccaneers face off for an early-season matchup of undefeated teams. The Eagles look poised to repeat as Super Bowl champs, and the Buccaneers could grab a stranglehold on their division. Baker Mayfield continues to prove the doubters wrong. He doesn't have a splashy stat line, 615 passing yards and six touchdown passes with no interceptions, but he continues to win. The Eagles haven't dominated through three weeks, but they continue to win nonetheless. One of these "get it done" teams will have to lose this week.

Betting Odds: Eagles -3.5 (Per ESPN)

Off the Field and Screen Pick: Eagles

Minnesota Vikings @ Pittsburgh Steelers

The Vikings looked like a completely different team with Carson Wentz at quarterback last week. Beating the Bengals without Joe Burrow may not be the world's most notable accomplishment, but they did so in a dominant fashion. At 2-1, they remain in a three-way tie for first place. The Lions play the Browns, and the Packers play the Cowboys. Both teams should win. The Steelers have a chance to gain some early ground in their division. The Ravens have a tough draw against the Chiefs, and the Bengals remain without Burrow.

Betting Odds: Vikings -2(Per ESPN)

Off the Field and Screen Pick: Steelers

Cleveland Browns @ Detroit Lions

The Browns upset the Packers last week, 13-10. They did so with their dominant defense. They have yet to allow 300 yards of offense. The Lions, however, had over 400 yards of offense against the Ravens and over 500 against the Bears. This game comes down to which force outweighs the other. The Browns' offense hasn't been able to do much this season, so they'll need another dominant defensive showing to upset the Lions this week.

Betting Odds: Lions -9.5 (Per ESPN)

Off the Field and Screen Pick: Lions
